I don’t have any patience with people acting stupid. The entire cast is in my age group, yet their vocabulary and mental intellect barely surpasses that of a 12 year-old. The drama and the things they deem important, all so superficial and they all lack substance. There is nothing “real” or natural about any of them. I probably watched 10 minutes of the show… and if I could demand for those 10 minutes, I would.

I am thankful that this show is a great reminder of why I don’t really watch TV anymore. I’d rather be a nerd and stick to reading.

I’m not much of a fan of Taylor Swift, but I do believe everyone is entitled to their moment to shine. I think its lame that he upstaged her. Kanye, as great as you are, can’t you just be nice for one night?

So.. originally they were going to bury him on his birthday, August 29, 2009 – now it’s pushed back to the 31st!!

Does anyone seem to see a problem with this? When people pass they need to be laid to rest so the deceased and his loved ones can appropriately grieve and move on. Isn’t it time to stop capitalizing on a fmily member’s passing?

Orange Hands

For example this older photo of a super preggers Ashley Simpson-Wentz. Her face is as white as snow, yet she has orange hands…. The last time I checked, taking in some vitamin D at the beach didn’t turn people orange.I highly doubt she eats a bushel of carrots a day… and if she did… wouldn’t her face be orange too?

And this next photo… it’s extremely obvious!! Tila Tequila was promoting her book earlier late last year in this beautiful white dress… her upper half (the part that obviously got natural sunlight) is the normal shade of tan skin. Most Asians that I know have this golden undertone to their tans… then, you look down at her legs: ORANGE!!! I understand looking cute is a must in the “biz” but if you can’t make it look real… just don’t do it!! I think I probably would have gone with a cute pair of tights.. or better yet, a sophisicated pair of slacks with a really sexy, but smart top.

Being orange is a pet peeve of mine… if you’re in So Cal… you really shouldn’t be orange EVER. It’s not sexy at the least, and I am so tired of people trying to make like Orange is the new Black.. you know what I say to that… EEEEWWWWWWWW!!!

I’m quite sad. I had many memories of dancing in my living room to the Thriller album with my dad. The Jackson 5 rendition of Rockin’ Robin is still my favorite, and despite how “weird” he became, I was and always will be a fan of the King of Pop.

Eight reasons why we are in a depression

1. We have zombie banks.

2. There is considerable regulatory uncertainty in banking and finance.

3. There is a negative wealth effect from lower home and asset prices.

4. There is a big sectoral shift out of real estate, luxury goods, and debt-financed consumption.

5. Some of the automakers are finally meeting their end, or would meet their end without government aid.

6. Fear and uncertainty are high, in part because they should be high and in part because Bush and Paulson spooked everyone.

7. International factors are strongly negative.

8. There is a decline in aggregate demand, resulting from some mix of 1-7.

I have two simple points,  First, a large fiscal stimulus addresses factor #8 but fares poorly in alleviating the other problems.  Of course it may give a band-aid for #5 or #6 and you can tell other stories but we are in a multi-factor depression.

Second, forecasting will prove very difficult.  These factors interacted with each other in a unique manner on the way down and they may well interact in an unpredictable manner on the way back up, whenever that comes.  Just for a start, who has a good model of #1, #2, or #6?  Right now we’re seeing a lot of good faith efforts to develop forecasts, but I say don’t believe any of them, whether they support your point of view or not.

The lil Duff who’s claim to fame was the very annoying Disney series, Lizzy McGuire and at that time, she reminded me way too much of the freakish looking Olsen twins. As time progressed, she became less akward looking (I think losing the baby chub and the veneers helped greatly). Now, she is a gorgeous fashionista who is a great role model for young women. Let’s only hope that this single isn’t going to lead her to whoredom like it has for her pop predecessors, Brit Spears, Chris Aguilera, and Linds Lohan.
